Every year, Baptist women around the world observe a day of prayer on the first Monday in November.

It's a day when you join your sisters and prayer partners from other Women's Unions to pray-for the global social injustices done against women and children; to celebrate-the work that is being done by Baptist women like you to eliminate those injustices; to worship-the Spirit in whom we all live, move and have our being.

It's also a day when offerings are gathered, globally, to support specific projects developed and done by our Baptist sisters. 50 per cent of your Day of Prayer offerings go to the North American Baptist Women's Union and 50 per cent to the Baptist World Alliance Women's Department.

In past years, grants from Days of Prayer offerings have supported Matthew Houses, Toronto and Windsor; former CBM global field staff Ria Deneut's A Tes Cotes ministry in French Canada; and Vancouver's Michelle Miller and her Buying Sex Is Not A Sport initiative.
