Sudoku
Sudoku and Baptist women have a lot in common. Every Sudoku game has multiple numbers 1 through 9. When they're put correctly in the grid, they always add up . . . the picture is complete.
Baptist women have many different connections, links and opportunities and when we are all in sync our picture is complete.
Connections . . . the puzzle pieces needed for us to move forward.
For the first 134 years of Baptist Women history, our major connecting pieces were our missionaries and our magazine The Link & Visitor. These continue to be vital connectors for our organization. And we are adding more:
- this new, interactive website and our Facebook page are the start. I may be on Twitter soon! (Don Simmonds, newly appointed CEO of Huntley Street, shared on a recent program, how reaching today’s world requires use of multiple communication tools.)
I agree, but I also believe that personal connections are the most important puzzle pieces of all.
You are invited.
I am looking for four people to join me on our road trip to Moncton, May 24 – June 2. Along the way, we will fill our grid by making connections: helping at a camp and spending time with our sisters in Quebec as we travel east to join in with the Atlantic Baptist Women’s Convention.
Keep watching for other opportunities to “fill the grid” but be in touch with me now to book your seat in the van!
