Daughters
I just opened an e-mail from a young woman friend who signed off "daughter in Christ."
I was so touched by that . . . felt a warmth and bond, just like I have with my daughter and two daughters-in-law.
I was reminded of our family relationship in God's family, and my thoughts raced back to women who have impacted my life - Sunday school teachers, youth group leader, camp counsellors, pastor's wives . . . who shared God's love by their actions, in their eyes and through their gift of time.
Who is in your sphere of influence, your touch and gaze? May God direct our vision and action as we pay it forward.
