(I wrote something two days ago and thought it got posted . . . but I must have done something wrong. )
Finally this morning we have a bit of down time after a busy and great week in Mistissini!
I am so proud of our team of 12 women who worked together . . . and it has been wonderful to be with about 30+ different special women and some of their wee children from the community. We have been blessed to be in such a beautiful part of God's creation, surrounded by lakes, big sky, skinny green coniferous trees, blueberries and lots of sand! You can feel and see God everywhere!
The women are just like us, with hurts and sorrows and family challenges, and also they are just like us in that they, and us, all serve a God who is big, powerful and with us through all of life's challenges!
Today we will enjoy the camp with debriefing and preparing for our leadership at church tomorrow. Then we will pack up and head towards home!
